<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining Al scrap, which can obtain an Al-refined body that simultaneously satisfies a high removal rate of Si and a high recovery rate of Al from the Al scrap, and also can achieve high efficiency and high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The refining method includes: the first refining step having a step of cooling a molten metal 2 in a container 1 to a temperature T<SB>1</SB>, subsequently giving a predetermined pressure to the product to separate the product into a recovered solid phase 5a and a liquid phase portion 6a; and the second refining step of repeating a series of steps having a step of keeping a temperature of the liquid phase portion 6a to a liquidus line or higher, continuously cooling the liquid phase portion 6a to the temperature T<SB>2</SB>, subsequently giving a predetermined pressure to the product to separate the liquid phase portion 6a into a recovered solid phase 5b and a liquid phase portion 6b, and a step of keeping a temperature of the liquid phase portion 6b to the liquidus line or higher, cooling the liquid phase portion 6b to a temperature T<SB>3</SB>, subsequently giving a predetermined pressure to the product to separat the liquid phase portion 6b into a recovered solid phase 5c and a liquid phase portion 6c to recover the Al-refined body formed of the recovery solid phases 5a, 5b and 5c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
