METHOD FOR EVALUATING OF EFFICACY OF REDUCTION INCREASE IN VISCERAL FAT, KIT FOR EVALUATION, AND SUBSTANCE SCREENING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method etc. for evaluating the efficacy of the reduction an increase in the visceral fat of a test substance.

SOLUTION: The concentration of at least one marker substance among eleven types of marker substances in a body fluid of an animal which has developed or can develop visceral fat obesity to which the test substance is administered is compared with a reference value to evaluate the efficacy of the reduction of an increase in the visceral fat of the test substance. A constitution for capturing the marker substance by a carrier to which a substance having affinity for the marker substance is immobilized and computing the concentration of the marker substance in the body fluid is recommended. A substance screening method using the evaluation method and a kit capable of easily performing the evaluation method are also provided.
