<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time to be spent on the processing of a card by executing the inversion of the card only as needed. <P>SOLUTION: The both sides of an inserted card 50 are detected by a card direction detection sensor 14, and it is discriminated whether or not the card 50 has been inserted with its both sides being faced to correct directions. When processing to the card 50 is accompanied by printing by a thermal head 13 and there is any error on the both sides of the card 50, the card 50 is inverted by an inverting mechanism 30. When processing to the card 50 is not accompanied by printing by the thermal head 13, the card 50 is not inverted by the inversion mechanism 30 regardless of whether the both side of the card 50 are faced to correct or wrong directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
