PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repellent for repelling grape pests which is excellent in effect of repelling grape pests and excellent in safety for human and animals and has ease of use and high practicability and to provide a method for repelling grape pests. SOLUTION: There are provided a repellent for repelling grape pests which carries p-menthane-3,8-diol and/or p-menthane-1,8-diol as grape pest repelling ingredients, desirably carries the grape pest repelling ingredients in an amount of 0.01-100 mg/cm2based on the carrier or contains them in an amount of 0.2-20 mass% in 100 mL liquid agent to adjust the amount of the ingredients volatilized per 24 h in the range of 0.2-200 mg and a method for repelling grape pests using the same.
