PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor for surely detecting an actually caused abnormal approach coin, and for surely excluding the abnormal approach coin. SOLUTION: A conveyance path 12 is provided with an identification part 31 and a reject timing sensor 32 isolated with an interval equivalent to a prescribed coin interval, and whether or not there exists any abnormal approach coin which has approached with the coin interval which is equal to or less than the coin interval is determined on the basis of the detection results of the identification part 31 and the reject timing sensor 32.
