PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, image forming apparatus, image processing method, and image processing program, properly extracting a photo image data by a simple process. SOLUTION: From a group consisting of a plurality of photo image data taken within a predetermined time period, only a particular photo image data is automatically extracted, based on the time information (photographing date and time) corresponding to respective photo image data. For a re-taking group, for example, which consists of photo image data obtained by re-taking, the photo image data having the latest time information associated with the data is extracted (step S109). Since a photo image data is extracted based on the time information associated with respective photo image data, extraction of photo image data is made with simpler process in proper manner when compared with such configuration as a complex determination process is performed for respective photo image data.
