PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge control material which imparts stable dispersibility and charging characteristics to display particles with a smaller amount of addition as compared to other charge control materials, and a display particle dispersion, a display medium and a display using the charge control material. SOLUTION: The charge control material is at least one selected from a first reaction adduct of a reactive polymer having a reactive functional group and a reactive silicone compound having a reactive functional group which takes part in an addition reaction to the reactive functional group of the reactive polymer, and a second reaction adduct of a reactive silicone compound having a reactive functional group and at least one of an amine compound, an alkyl halide compound and a polybasic acid each of which takes part in an addition reaction to the reactive functional group of the reactive silicone compound.
