MOLTEN GLASS CARRIER FACILITY ELEMENT AND GLASS PRODUCTION SYSTEM
摘要

Disclosed is a molten glass carrier facility element which enables the prevention of cracking in a joint part between a vertically extending duct and a horizontally extending duct caused by thermal expansion of the ducts upon heating or shrinkage of the ducts upon cooling, and which comprises a ceramic structure body. The molten glass carrier facility element comprises a duct structure body for a molten glass and a ceramic structure body. The duct structure body comprises a vertically extending first duct and a horizontally extending second duct that is communicated with the first duct, wherein the first and second ducts are made of platinum or a platinum alloy. The ceramic structure body is arranged surrounding the first and second ducts. The ceramic structure body contains zirconium oxide in an amount of 75 wt% or more, wherein cubic zirconia makes up 80 wt% or more of the zirconium oxide. The ceramic structure body has an average apparent porosity of 5 to 60% and a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 8 × 10-6 to 12 × 10-6/°C at 20 to 1000°C.
