LARGE AREA UNDISTORTED IMAGING APPARATUS FOR OPTICAL SPECKLES AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An undistorted imaging device and method are provided to form an undistorted optical speckle pattern of a large area by choosing a light limiting module that is for acquiring an array of a plurality of undistorted optical speckle images. CONSTITUTION: A light emitted diode(10) emits highly coherent light to an object's surface. The light emitting diode generates more than one rays of light of scattered light. An optical confining unit(12) confines more than one rays of light of the scattered light. The optical confining unit generates a plurality of diffracted rays of light, which generates a plurality of optical speckles by interfering with each other. A sensor is arranged behind the optical confining unit. The sensor(14) receives the plurality of optical speckles. The sensor generates an optical speckle pattern according to the plurality of optical speckles.
