PURPOSE: A light joystick applied to a user interface of an electronic device and a portable electronic device with the same are provided to remarkably reduce a contact area between a subject and a cover forming at least one protrusion or groove on an operation surface. CONSTITUTION: A light source(210) emits a subject sensing light for sensing of a subject. An optical sensor(220) is mounted on a substrate(230). A cover(100) has at least one protrusion or at least one groove(127) on an operation surface that the subject contacts. An imaging guide(340) is integrally packaged inside a molding material(330). The imaging guide has at least one optical fiber. At least one optical fiber projects the subject sensing light to the optical sensor. |
