INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an internal combustion engine in such a manner that recirculation gas having high pressures is provided without dilution by a simple and low cost means and that a projection of a valve to an operation chamber is passed over.

SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine of the two cycle diesel engine including a cylinder (1) includes the cylinder defined by a piston (3), and includes the operation chamber (2) into which fuel and a scavenge gas containing O2are charged. The chamber includes a suction part (6) which is adjusted by the piston at a lower cylinder area and an exhaust gas discharge part (5). A recirculation gas outlet (21) of a recirculation device (20) branches off from the exhaust gas discharge part. Combustion gas from the chamber is returned to the chamber as recirculation. The valve projecting to the chamber when combustion gas is taken out is not necessary. A recirculation gas outlet (21) includes a wall penetration part disposed at a lower cylinder area, is offset to an upper part of the scavenge gas suction part (6), and is adjusted by the piston. A valve device is disposed outside of each cylinder to avoid direct reverse flow of the recirculation gas.
