<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweetened rice cake-like food having light and crispy palate feeling and rich flavor: and to provide a method for producing the sweetened rice cake-like food. <P>SOLUTION: This sweetened rice cake-like food uses a binder which contains 70-175 pts.mass of oil and fat and 10-25 pts.mass of water based on 100 pts.mass of glucide, and if necessary, an emulsifier. The sweetened rice cake-like food is obtained by mixing 50-100 pts.mass of the binder based on 100 pts.mass of cereals followed by baking, and uses as the cereals, 30-100 pts.mass of peeled roasted wheat grains in 100 pts.mass of the cereals.
