<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which color fading of a carotenoid pigment can be suppressed without adding a stabilizer or the like, being a factor causing texture change and flavor change and an increase of irritant property, to provide a vessel using the same, and to provide a method for preserving foods and drinks, functional foods, external preparations, cosmetics, quasi drugs, and drugs by using the vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The method for suppressing color fading of a carotenoid pigment is characterized by preserving the carotenoid pigment in a vessel having a spectral average transmittance of 0.01-45.0% in the entire wavelength region of 535-695 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
