LOCKER MANAGEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology or preventing a forgetting of deposit of a package to a locker.

SOLUTION: A locker management system is provided, which has: a machine readable recording medium with a unique identifier recorded thereon; a locker having a plurality of storages each of which has a unique locker number; an electric lock device capable of individually locking and unlocking each of the plurality of storages; a controller which controls lock and unlock by the electric lock device based on identifiers and locker numbers related to each other beforehand; a table which stores the identifiers and the locker numbers of at least storages locked at present by relating them to each other; a determination means for determining whether or not predetermined notification conditions including lock/unlock states of the storages are satisfied by referring to the table; and a notification means for explicitly or inexplicitly notifying users of the storages that the storages are locked when the notification conditions are satisfied as a result of determination by the determination means.
