<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a comparatively advanced and highly precise image while composing an optical printer head and a printer comparatively compactly. <P>SOLUTION: The optical printer head includes a light emitting element array, in which a plurality of light emitting elements are arranged and divided into a plurality of light emitting element groups, a plurality of emission control units each having a volatile memory provided in correspondence with the plurality of light emitting element groups, and the volatile memory storing the correction data of the plurality of light emitting elements, respectively. The emission control unit reads out the correction data each of the light emitting elements constituting a corresponding light emitting element group from the volatile memory, stores the correction data in its own volatile memory, receives the image data supplied externally in the state where the correction data is stored in the volatile memory, and supplies a drive current to the light emitting elements constituting a corresponding light emitting element group based on the received image data and the correction data stored in the volatile memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
