PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap-type motor in which a yoke part constituted of a laminated body which is wound, and a rotor frame can firmly be integrated and rigidity which is proof against centrifugal force by rotation of a rotor and magnetic suction force from a stator can be secured, and to provide a manufacturing method of the rotor. SOLUTION: The rotor 11 of the axial gap-type motor 10 includes a plurality of main magnet parts 41 which are magnetized in a rotation axis direction and are arranged at prescribed intervals in a circumferential direction, a plurality of yoke parts 42 which are constituted of the laminated body 71 where a tape-like magnetic steel sheet 60 is wound and arranged on both sides in the rotation axis direction of a plurality of the main magnet parts 41, and a rotor frame 30 that has a plurality of ribs 31 which are disposed between the adjacent main magnet parts 41 in the circumferential direction and extend in a radial direction, and an internal cylindrical part 32 and an external cylindrical part 33, which are disposed on an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side of a plurality of the ribs 31, and that is formed of die-casting alloy.
