PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a remaining quantity of s toner without causing a cost increase. SOLUTION: A starting time of a main motor is detected. A starting time when a CRG is new is detected. A relative ratio of the starting time when the CRG is new to the starting time of the motor is calculated, and compared with a preset value, and the remaining quantity of the toner is detected.
