PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device or the like for displaying measurement area information for imaging equipment capable of avoiding the complication of an electric circuit that makes a measurement area of a display part displayable in a plurality of discriminable forms, and a mounting constitution. SOLUTION: The device for displaying measurement area information includes: a liquid crystal display device 22 for displaying a plurality of measurement areas to be superimposed on a subject image; a measurement area selection mode changing means; and a measurement area moving designating member. The changing means performs switching between a mode in which operation to designate the movement of a specific measurement area is allowed and a mode in which such an operation is not allowed. The designating member designates the movement of the specific measurement area in the mode in which the operation to designate the movement thereof is allowed. A segment of the selected specific measurement area out of segments showing the measurement areas is set into a state that a common drive voltage is applied, and segments of other measurement areas are set into a state that the common drive voltage is not applied. The common drive voltage in the mode in which the operation to designate the movement thereof is allowed is made higher than the common drive voltage in the mode in which such an operation is not allowed.
