<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trench excavator capable of obtaining both trench side faces of desired hardness which hardly causes collapse. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The trench excavator 1 includes a working machine body 2 connected to a tractor. The working machine body 2 is provided rotatably with a trench excavating body 31 excavating soil in a field by rotation to excavate a trench. The trench excavating body 31 has a rotating shaft 41 driven to rotate, and a plurality of trench excavating claws 42 provided at the tip of the rotating shaft 41. The trench excavating claw 42 has a first trench side face blade plate 81 forming one trench side face A1. The tip of the first trench side face blade plate 81 is provided with a trench bottom face blade plate 82 forming a trench bottom face A3.
