<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation stability, durability, and abrasion resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 includes: a carcass 6 including a carcass ply 6A including a body part 6a toroidally across between a pair of bead cores 5 and a folded-back part 6b continuing to the body part 6a and folded back around the bead cores 5 and terminated at a buttress part B; a belt layer 7; a tread rubber Tg; and a sidewall rubber Sg arranged on the outside of the carcass 6 in the axial direction of a tire and in a sidewall region. The tread rubber Tg includes a main part 10 extending in the width direction of a tread and forming a contact area and a wing rubber 11 connected to both sides of the main part 10 and having hardness lower than that of the main part 10 and the sidewall rubber Sg. The outer end part of the wing rubber 11 extends between the body part 6a and the folded-back portion 6b and is terminated. An outward surface 12 of the wing rubber protruded outside from the main part 10 is covered with the sidewall rubber Sg connected to the main part 10 without being exposed to the outer surface of the tire.
