<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a high frequency to be output, using a pierce-type piezoelectric oscillator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator 1 includes: an oscillation circuit 101 which comprises a first capacity element C1 connected between one of terminals of a piezoelectric oscillator 10 and a ground potential line GND; a second capacity element C2 connected between the other terminal of the piezoelectric oscillator 10 and the ground potential line GND; an oscillation transistor Q1, in which a corrector terminal is connected to one of the terminals of the piezoelectric oscillator 10; a base terminal is connected to the other terminal of the piezoelectric oscillator 10 and a power supply 20 ; an emitter terminal is connected to the ground potential line GND; an oscillation support transistor Q2, in which the base terminal is connected to a corrector terminal of the oscillation transistor Q1 via a first resistor Rb, the corrector terminal is connected to the corrector terminal of the oscillation transistor Q1 via a second resistor Rc, and the emitter terminal is connected to the base terminal of the oscillation transistor Q1; and a buffer circuit BUF connected to the corrector terminal of the oscillation transistor Q1.
