PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing a processing time for performing various kinds of image processing. SOLUTION: An attribute of image data input from a scanner or a host computer is analyzed and an order of image data to be transferred to an image processing means is controlled, thereby reducing a circuit configuration modification time of an image processing apparatus and optimizing a processing time. In a control procedure, images having the same attribute are transferred in such an order as to collectively process the images. The transfer order is determined in accordance with a distribution of image data. A circuit configuration can be instructed to the image processing means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
