<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece dial having excellent durability, black color, a sense of high class, and excellent appearance while having excellent optical transparency, to provide a manufacturing method capable of preferentially manufacturing the timepiece dial, and to provide a timepiece equipped with the timepiece dial. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The timepiece dial 1 includes: a base material 2 mainly composed of polycarbonate; a first film 3 composed of silicon oxide, titanium oxide or silicon carbide; and a second film 4, composed of carbon, formed with sputtering method. The second film 4 is prepared to partially cover the base material 2 when the base material 2 is viewed in a planar view. The average thickness of the second film 4 is preferably 50-600 nm.
