<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the arrangement and assembly efficiency of a pump suction piping passing inside an engine chamber upon being fitted to a machine body, and to facilitate the modification of a pipe diameter for securing a space to the engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pump suction piping (22) includes a tank hose (24) on the side connected to a hydraulic oil tank (18), a pump hose (26) on the side connected to a hydraulic pump (20), and a connecting pipe (28) connecting the tank hose with the pump hose in an engine chamber (14). The connecting pipe includes a pipe (28a) both ends of which are respectively inserted into the tank hose and the pump hose, and a bracket (28b) mounted on the pipe to fix the pipe to the engine chamber.
