<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain light weight and enhance sound-proofing performance by enhancing sound-shielding performance and sound-absorption performance at sufficient balance in a sound-proofing material for a vehicle attached to an indoor surface side of a vehicle body panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An insulator dash 20 mounted to a cabin inner surface side of the vehicle body panel 10 is constituted by interposing an intermediate layer 50 constituted by a light weight material between a first sound-absorption layer 30 positioned at the vehicle body panel 10 side and a second sound-absorption layer 40 positioned at a cabin R side. Further, bending rigidity of the intermediate layer 50 is set to 0.02 N*cm<SP>2</SP>or more and thickness of the second-absorption layer 40 relative to the first sound-absorption layer 30 is set to the optimum thickness.
