<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight unit (an illuminating device) capable of effectively utilizing light of a light source, and to provide a liquid crystal display loading the backlight unit. <P>SOLUTION: Although a ceiling side opening part 11U as a part of opening 11 at a top face 21U side can not surround an LED 33 and connection components together, it surrounds the LED 33 and exposes a light-emitting face 35 outside, and a bottom side opening part 11B as a part of the opening 11 at a bottom face 21B side surrounds the LED 33 and the connection components together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
