<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light guide plates, and to provide a backlight module utilizing the light guide plates. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate has an incident face, an outgoing face crossing the incident face, and a light diffusing face which crosses the incident face and is opposed to the outgoing face. A plurality of dots are formed on the light diffusing face and the plurality of dots include a first set of dots and a second set of dots. The first set of dots are arranged to face the incident face and in a formation of a plurality of arcs having the identical center of circles, and the second set of dots are arranged in a formation of a plurality of lines.
