METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COLOR FILTER, COLOR FILTER, IMAGE DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method etc. of manufacturing a color filter by which high contrast is obtained and color irregularity, uneven density and stripe irregularity on respective regions are suppressed.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the color filter 1 includes an ink supplying step to supply an ink to a cell 14 on a substrate 12 on the basis of a drawing data. In the method, a correction data generating step is periodically performed, the step comprising: ejecting droplets of the ink from a nozzle of a liquid droplet ejection head according to an inkjet method on the basis of the drawing data; supplying the ink to the cells on a substrate for test; detecting the amount of the ink in each cell 14 on the substrate for test; and generating the correction data to be used for adjusting the number of droplets of the ink supplied to the cells 14 so that the amount of the ink in each cell 14 on the substrate 11 may get to be a target value on the basis of the detection result, and the ink supplying step is performed by correcting the drawing data with the correction data and using the drawing data after the correction. The resin material of the ink includes at least one of polymers W and Z.
