HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of suppressing leakage of a refrigerant from an edge of a connection hole with which a terminal of a tube is connected. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An end plate 32 has a first overlapping section having a first opening at one side and overlapped with a tank plate 31. The tank plate 31 has a second overlapping section having a second opening at one side and overlapped with the end plate 31. The end plate 32 and the tank plate 31 are assembled in a state that the first opening and the second opening are opposed to each other, and the first overlapping section of the end plate 32 is positioned inside of the second overlapping section of the tank plate 31. A connection groove 31d corresponding to at least one end side of the connection hole 32c is formed on an edge section of the second overlapping section of the tank plate 31.
