PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC converter for a vehicle, capable of protecting electrical products. SOLUTION: The DC converter for the vehicle includes a voltage input circuit, a voltage conversion circuit, a voltage output circuit, a voltage detection circuit, a load protection circuit, a control circuit, and a drive circuit. The voltage input circuit inputs a low voltage DC current, the voltage conversion circuit converts the low voltage DC current to a high voltage DC current, the voltage output circuit outputs the high voltage DC current, the voltage detection circuit detects a voltage outputted by the voltage output circuit and transmits a voltage detection signal, the load protection circuit includes an overcurrent protection detection circuit, detects a current outputted by the voltage output circuit and transmits a load detection signal, the control circuit receives the voltage detection signal and the load detection signal, determines whether a signal is the voltage detection signal or the load detection signal by comparing them with a reference value, respectively, and transmits a control signal, and the drive circuit 4 receives the control signal, and adjusts the voltage or the current by driving the voltage conversion circuit 2 based on the control signal.
