<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone type dust collector for separating and removing dust contained in the air, which is capable of reducing the pressure loss and has high dust collection efficiency while keeping an installation space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When air is introduced into the dust collector 1, a turning flow is produced in a circular chamber 2 to give the centrifugal force to the dust in the air and the dust descends while turning along the inner wall surface of a conical cylinder 5 and falls down in a dust collection chamber 6. When a sirocco fan 10 provided inside of an exhaust chamber 8 is rotated and worked, the pressure loss in the dust collection apparatus can be reduced because the pressure rising action is worked and the static pressure of an exhaust port 9 becomes higher than the inner cylinder side.
