PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor which can generate a cylindrical projection image of tubular tissue which has no strain in the aspect ratio even if it is tubular tissue changing the diameter, and a medical image processing program. SOLUTION: The medical image processor visualizing the tubular tissue included in volume data has a centerline specification section specifying the centerline of the tubular tissue, a diameter determination section determining the diameter of the tubular tissue in an optional point on the centerline, an interval determination section determining at least two or more projection intervals of virtual light corresponding to the diameter of the tubular tissue, a cylindrical projection section projecting the virtual light along the centerline at the projection intervals, and an image generation section generating the cylindrical projection image of the tubular tissue on the basis of information obtained by the projection of the virtual light and the volume data.
