The present invention relates to a method for correcting an incomplete shape of a spherical indenter, characterized in that the effective radius through which materials actively react to the depth of contact is defined to accurately derive the physical property evaluated through an indentation test using the spherical indenter having an incomplete shape. Further, the present invention proposes an indirect correction method using a reference curve to correct the shape of a spherical indenter in an efficient manner.
