The method involves detecting, determining and/or evaluating a physiological signal (S) of physiological parameters (P, P') e.g. frequency of heartbeat and/or breathing rate, of an occupant of a motor vehicle, a vehicle parameter and/or an environmental parameter (U). The physiological parameters are continuously displayed on a LCD display at a dashboard of the motor vehicle. The physiological parameters are recorded and/or stored in a storage unit (5), and are transmitted from a transmitting device (6) to a receiver device that is arranged outside the vehicle.
