The method involves converting an acoustic sound sequence into a graphical representation (13). The acoustic sound sequence is applied on an article in two- and/or three-dimensional form. The graphical representation is provided as a line and/or a surface, which represent volume amplitude in the time response or an envelope of a frequency spectrum.
