PURPOSE: A high-tensile strength and high-ductility wire rod manufacturing method using multi-phase cooling is provided to reduce the breaking of wire rod by performing wire drawing without separate heat treatment. CONSTITUTION: A high-intensity and high-ductility wire rod manufacturing method using multi-phase cooling comprises the steps of heating a steel material to 1000~1200°C, hot-rolling the steel material, rapidly cooling the steel material with mist to 600°C at a speed over 80°C/sec, and cooling the steel material with air.
