PURPOSE: A system and a method for transmitting/receiving an optical signal are provided to transmit through BS sector signals through one optical cable. CONSTITUTION: A doner(120) receives two or more signals according to each sector of a base station(110). After electrical to optical conversion by sector of received signals, the doner generates the first signals by the converted signals of the first WDN. The doner generates the second signal by the second WDM of the first signals. A remote(130) receives the second signal through one optical line. The remote restores the sector signals by sectors from the received second signal.
