<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an oligomer or a monomer when degrading a biodegradable resin using an enzyme and recovering the oligomer and/or the monomer. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the oligomer or the monomer by degrading the biodegradable resin in a degrading liquid containing the biodegrading enzyme, a buffering agent, an organic solvent and water, the SP value of the organic solvent is <8.5 or >11.5 and the content (volume content) of the organic solvent in the degrading liquid is >1% and <15%. In the method for producing the oligomer or the monomer, the degradation rate of the biodegradable resin is low and the amount of aggregates/precipitates of the oligomer and/or the monomer is small but the recovery rates of the oligomer and/or the monomer are high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
