<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precursor of inorganic hollow particles from which hollow particles having a size of less than 100-nm can be stably synthesized, inorganic hollow particles produced from the precursor, a method for producing inorganic hollow particles, an optical member excellent in cohesiveness with a resin or the like, strength, and optical properties, and the like, and to provide an optical member having antireflective function. <P>SOLUTION: The precursor of a hollow particle, with which an inorganic hollow particle can be produced by removing a pyrolysis core, has a pyrolysis core, a hydrolysis-accelerating catalyst adsorbed or bound to at least a portion on the surface of the pyrolysis core, and an inorganic film as an outermost layer. In addition, the pyrolysis core has a polar group or a compound having a polar group, which is present on at least a portion of the surface and has affinity for the hydrolysis-accelerating catalyst, wherein the hydrolysis-accelerating catalyst is adsorbed or bound to the polar group. Also, with the use of the pyrolysis cores, inorganic hollow particles and the method for producing the same as well as the optical device and the optical device object produced using the inorganic hollow particles are formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
