<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract an element significant for a user from contents of a web content to display the element so that the element is easy to handle even in a small screen, in an information processing apparatus like a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When a web content 15a is received, an HTML structure of the content 15a is analyzed to extract character strings "stronger" than peripheral characters, and "navigation" Nn is extracted by positions and sizes of aggregation ranges of the "strong" character strings, the average numbers of characters in respective character strings, and background styles. Furthermore, independent "titles" Tn and a "title list" Ln are extracted by positional relations between the "strong" character strings, strengths, and the number of character strings. The web content 15a is displayed in a reduced overhead view, and a column frame WCn, a title marker MTn, and a navigation marker MNn are additionally displayed on the basis of the extracted specific elements Cn, Nn, Tn, and Ln, and a focus (F) is moved and displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
