PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquefied hydrocarbon gas containing a sufficient amount of an odorant by quantitatively and easily calculating the concentration of the deodorant contained in a gas generated by gasifying a liquefied hydrocarbon gas composed mainly of hydrocarbon compounds. SOLUTION: When a liquefied hydrocarbon gas is manufactured by mixing at least one hydrocarbon compound with a deodorant gas for imparting a warning smell for recognizing gas leakage, a situation is presumed where a predetermined mass of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas is charged in a closed space having a predetermined volume at a predetermined temperature, and the compositions in a gas phase in a gas-liquid equilibrium state in the situation are calculated for mixtures obtained by mixing the hydrocarbon compound with the odorant in various mixing ratios. Then, the mixing ratio of the hydrocarbon compound with the odorant is decided based on the results of calculation, and the hydrocarbon compound and the odorant are mixed according to the mixing ratio.
