<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a storage device having improved failure resistance of a plurality of disk storage portions loaded therein, and to provide an image forming apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In HDDs 26 and 28, vibration-proof rubbers 60 having different damping characteristics are used so as not to impart the similar vibrations to all the HDDs 26 and 28. Besides, the resonance between the HDDs 26 and 28 is prevented. Further, the undesired deterioration of the HDDs 26 and 28 is prevented as compared with the case where the vibration-proof rubbers having the same effective frequency band are used for all the HDDs 26 and 28, accordingly, deterioration in reliability of the HDDs 26 and 28 is suppressed.
