PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety in non-use, and to retain combustion in use, in a piezo ignition type gas burner by relationship of lever lock mechanisms of the same constitution disposed on the front side and back side of a grip and guide grooves formed on an operation lever, and to reduce a weight and to improve easiness in mounting the lever lock mechanisms by forming a burner body into a hollow body with the grip. SOLUTION: This piezo ignition type gas burner is composed of: the burner body integrated with the grip at a lower section; and the operation lever rotatably supported in a longitudinally long opening formed on a front face of the grip and kept into contact with a movable member of a piezo ignition device. The burner body is formed into the hollow body with the grip at the lower section by fitting a pair of right and left halves of the same configuration. The lever lock mechanisms of the operation lever are vertically operably disposed on a front plate and a back plate at both sides of the opening of the grip. Pin grooves of the lock pin are formed on both side faces of the operation lever in a state of being vertically displaced. An opening upper edge of the pin groove at an upper position is formed as a locking edge for retaining the operation lever at a non-operating position. An opening lower section of the pin groove at a lower position is formed as a locking hook for retaining the operation lever in an operating position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
