PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight door device of an elevator having no step height by forming the whole surface of glass adapted to a demand for construction. SOLUTION: This door device has an extension part 3b extending to a front face at one edge 3a being a door stop part of one vertical frame 3 for constituting a pair, and has an extension part extending to a front face at one edge being an outside part of the other vertical frame 95, and also has an extension part extending to a front face at the upper side edge of one horizontal frame 90 for constituting a pair, and has an extension part 8b projecting to a front face at the lower side edge 8a of the other horizontal frame 8, and further has a recessed part constituted of the extension parts formed at the both by combining a pair of the vertical frames 3 and 95 and a pair of the horizontal frames 8 and 90, and has the glass 6 installed by adhesives 7 and 11 on the pair of vertical frames 3 and 95 and the pair of horizontal frames 8 and 90 via shock absorbing materials 4, 5, 9 and 10 installed in a required place of the recessed part.
