<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure monitor, a failure-monitoring method and a failure monitoring program for an electronic device, for performing early detection of failure or detecting an omen running into the failure by capturing a local change of environment during operation of the electronic device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This failure monitor 10 includes: a measurement means 11 for repeatedly measuring a plurality of kinds of predetermined physical phenomena, after the lapse of a time; a difference arithmetic means 12 for calculating the difference between pieces of measurement data obtained from the measurement means 11; a comparison means 13 for sequentially arranging the arithmetic results of the difference arithmetic means 12, and comparing an aging change of the arithmetic results with a predetermined safe range, capable of being regarded as being a non-occurrence of the failure; and a failure prediction warning means 14 for issuing a warning, when it is distinguished that the change in the arithmetic results exceeding the predetermined safe range is present, as the result of the comparison.
