<p>A terminal and a method for prompting service failure in the video telephone service are provided. The terminal includes a processing module, a storing module and a setting module connected orderly. The terminal sets and stores the relationship between the various prompt manners and failure prompt information according to a user command. When the terminal receives a video telephone call request and the failure prompt operation is executed by the called user, the terminal generates a call failure prompt message according to the pre-installed failure prompt information and the prompt manner corresponding to the failure prompt information, and transmits the call failure prompt message to the calling user. When the calling user terminal receives the call failure prompt message, the calling user terminal analyses and obtains the failure prompt information and the corresponding prompt manner, displays and/or broadcasts the failure prompt information to the calling user according to the prompt manner. The solution of the invention meets the users individual prompt requirement and simplifies the prompt procedure of the service failure in the video telephone service.</p> |
