POWER TRANSMISSION APPARATUS FOR A COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A power transfer device of a compressor is provided to enable to use the frictional member to a minimum and to easily transfer and keep the frictional member. CONSTITUTION: A power transfer device of a compressor comprises a pulley(100), a hub, and a disc. The pulley is rotatably installed at the compressor to be rotated by the torque delivered from the engine and comprises field coil. The hub covers one side of the driving shaft passing through the shaft hole of the compressor. The disc is spaced from the pulley and selectively makes tight contact with the frictional surface(101) of the pulley by the absorption magnetic-flux of the field coil. A frictional member insertion groove(103) is formed at the frictional surface of the pulley facing the disc and a plurality of frictional materials(R) are formed at the frictional material insertion groove into a circular arch shape.
