A method for non-bridging Customized Ring Tone CRT communication is provided by the present invention, and it comprises: transmitting a calling message carrying a CRT identification to the called terminal (S01); establishing a communication channel with the called terminal according to a response message of the called terminal (S02); distributing the CRT multimedia data to the called terminal (S03). The corresponding non-bridging CRT receiving method, the CRT server, the communication terminal and the CRT communication system are also provided by the present invention. Application of the CRT realizing method, the CRT server, the communication terminal and the CRT communication system of the present invention embodiments can realize the CRT in a non-bridging way at the CS domain, so that the service calling channel between the calling terminal and the called terminal does not need the CRT server for connection, thereby the resource cost of the CRT server is saved, the cost of the CRT server is reduced and the service calling establishment time between the calling terminal and the called terminal is decreased.
