PURPOSE: A method for producing an optical display device and a roll raw material are provided to prevent the exfoliation of a polarizer at an optical display unit by winding a release film with a polarizer. CONSTITUTION: A polarizer has a protection film on one side thereof opposite to an adhesive layer. The polarizer and release film is unrolled from a roll raw material by winding a bonded release film inside thereof to be transferred(S2). The unrolled polarizer and the release film or the unrolled polarizer leaving the release film are or is cut by a creation size(S4). The polarizer is combined in an optics display unit which applying a certain tension to the polarizer(S5).
