PURPOSE: A structure of a suction port is provided to prevent the overheat of a motor by flowing air through a hole in the side of the bottom of an extension pipe and a handle part if a web structure enters into the inside due to stuck socks in the suction port. CONSTITUTION: A structure of a suction port for a vacuum cleaner comprises a main body and a suction part which comprises: a handle part(7) which is connected to the main body through a flexible bellows hose; an extension pipe(4) which is connected to the handle part; and an floor suction tool(3) which is connected to the extension pipe or the handle part. One or more filtering unit is formed in the bottom of the handle part or the extension pipe. The filtering unit prevents miniature goods or cloths from being inhaled with foreign material to the inside of a vacuum cleaner.
